Madden day is Christmas for football fans. Except for the tragic episode of Madden 07. My xbox never let me get through a half of football. So disappointing. If my xbox red rings due to this game, I may stop playing video games altogether....or get more into my PS3.

Let's see how you feel after YOu send in your 360 2x for repair, and get ANOTHER red ring on Friday (though I am convinced it was a power supply overheat, because I havent had a problem since, and I logged about 10 hours after)

That's the reason they canned the PC version in the first place. Anyway, it sounds like they're going to bring it back next year anyway.

That's what I figured. They really haven't made any major changes to the game in years. The best changes they made were from the Culpepper cover to the Marshall Faulk. Then it was some crappy changes, they didn't even change the women on cheerleader cards from one year to the next, same pictures different teams. I liked the Frankenstein team from the Faulk year too, and the superhero's playing in the cereal bowl. The music seemed to go downhill since that cover too. The last one a bought was with McNabb, they had this damn QB vision, and Eli's was like a sliver, while everyone else's covered the whole field. I don't think I played out of the preseason on that one. After that games I didn't want to drop all that money on a retread game with crummy changes, and at the time they would only buy the old games back for $0.50 and $0.75.

Madden is indeed very good. I don't see a drastic gameplay improvement from last year, though the tweaks they have added to pre snap options makes it excellent. It is exciting to play my franchise as the DEFENDING SUPER BOWL CHAMPION NY GIANTS!!! Klym, its time to invest in a 360 and join the online league I am going to start.
